What it does
Built from what's fresh,
not from a template
The adaptive engine watches both directions: hit your reps and the load moves up — run yourself into the ground and tomorrow gets trimmed.
Autopilot
AI programming that respects your recovery
Tell Autopilot how long you have and what you want to train, or let it pick from what's fresh. It assembles the session, sets target weights from your own history, and honors your exclusions, limitations, and priority muscles.
- Progressive overload is automatic — hit your reps and the load moves up next time
- Muscles that are still cooked never get programmed
- Stalled lifts get flagged with a fix; peak fatigue earns a deload-week offer
Logger
A logger built for mid-set
Targets are prefilled from last time. Completing a set is one tap — or one swipe — and the rest timer starts itself, with an alert even when the screen is locked. Edit a weight and the change cascades to your remaining sets.
- Warm-up ramps, supersets, a plate calculator, and voice input
- Instant swaps with sensible alternatives, plus step-by-step exercise photos
- Logging keeps working offline and syncs when you're back
Recovery
See recovery, muscle by muscle
Post-workout check-ins — effort, energy, soreness — feed a per-muscle recovery model you can actually look at. A brutal session trims the next one, and runs, yoga, and pilates deposit into the same model, so leg day respects yesterday's long run.
Chi — the flow half
Yoga, pilates, breath, and stillness
Guided yoga, pilates, stretching, breathwork, and meditation — fully voiced with a calm ambient bed and hand-drawn pose figures. A breathing guide (box, 4-7-8, coherent), an open-ended sit timer, and post-lift cooldowns matched to what you trained.
No streaks, no badges — this space doesn't keep score.
Run
GPS runs with a plan
Live pace, dual km/mile splits, elevation, and spoken cues on a dark map — with auto-pause that catches red lights and a crash-proof buffer, so closing the app mid-run loses nothing. Save courses and race them with live percent-complete and off-route alerts.
- AI route discovery: nearby trails and footpaths from real OpenStreetMap data, sized to your target distance
- Race predictions and a VO2max estimate from your actual best efforts
- Run clubs: crew mileage boards, shared routes, and post-run event results
Crew
Train with your crew
Crews of up to six people — private, invited, and yours.
Chat, challenges, events
Crew chat, weekly challenges, events with RSVPs, and live "training now" presence, so you know who's under the bar right now.
Train Together
One paired session two people can run side by side — shared stations where possible, and each person's equipment, preferences, and recovery still respected.
A shared records board
Your crew's PRs in one place. Bragging rights stay evidence-based.
Fuel + rings
Fuel without friction
A daily calorie ring with protein, carb, and fat bars against goals derived from your stats. Log by quick add, recents, barcode scan, a plain-language description, or a photo of your plate — AI turns either into per-item macros you can edit before saving.
Your month lands as rings: workouts, runs, and Chi sessions count themselves, and you can log the classes and sports the app never sees.
Records
PRs that mean something
Every finished workout is checked against your history for weight, rep, estimated-1RM, and volume PRs. Strength standards grade your big lifts against body weight, and Progress keeps the charts honest: e1RM trends, weekly volume, muscle balance, and a monthly recap.
How it works
Three steps, then it drives
Tell it about you
Goal, schedule, equipment, limitations, priority muscles. A few minutes, once — edit any of it later.
Train
Autopilot builds today's session from what's recovered. Logging is one tap per set, and the rest timer runs itself.
Check in, adapt
A ten-second check-in after each session tunes the next one — more when you're fresh, less when you're not.
FAQ
Fair questions
Is Krunchi free?
Yes. Krunchi 1.0 is free on the App Store — no ads, no in-app purchases. It requires a free account (ages 13 and up) so your training history follows you.
When does it launch, and on what?
Krunchi is built for iPhone and is headed to the App Store now. Join the waitlist and you'll get one email the day it's live. There's no Android version yet — if that changes, the waitlist hears about it first.
What happens to my data?
Krunchi is a training app, not an advertising business. No ads, no third-party trackers, and nothing about you is sold to anyone. AI features run server-side through Anthropic's Claude and are not used to train models. You can export everything as JSON/CSV or permanently delete your account — in-app, any time. The full policy is at krunchi.app/privacy.
What if the AI is down mid-workout?
Nothing blocks. If the AI is unreachable, workout generation falls back to a built-in rule engine, and set logging works fully offline and syncs when you're back.
How do I reach a human?
Email [email protected] — questions, bugs, account help, anything. It's the same address for privacy requests.
